Lyrics

Ease into me. Glistening jade sea
Shining through black night, dispersed memories
& chalky dark, sinking pumice
& sand grating teeth in relentless jaws
Madness seeking drums
To beat a hard rhythm
Pushing blood. Pushing body. Pushing blood. Pushing body.
Into blinding lemon-acid light.

I can feel it in the water
I can feel it in my bones
& I’m going round in circles,
But I know I’m going home
And the echoes are haunting me
In my dreams I know that my heart is free
From the murky Memory Lake
To the critically insane.
On the bonny bonny banks
Of Lake Taupo

Salty warmth of faraway blue-green
Here crushing scarlet-close
Inside eye-lids, like leaf-lines.
Melting, kneading, curling, seething in.
Fold until nothing.
Melting, kneading, curling, seething in.
Fold until nothing.

In the forever more- on the yellow faded rocks
There is always a part of me – jumping off…
Jumping off into the Memory Lake.
